Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete has considerable social media audience
The young golfer can count on multiple well-known supporters as she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, owns several courses worldwide and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and have fun," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him rather occupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's a superior person. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."
Kai will face some of the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, specifically with youth audiences.
The young star maintains a massive following and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
